An Outside Offer to LetterRep Writers
Friday, March 27th, 2009Dear Writers,
Today I received a very strange request. Here’s the story…
An 82 year old man contacted LetterRep. He explained in a brief telephone call how he had recently written a book on how is son-in-law had swindled him of his company, money and stock. In his own description, his son-in-law makes “the devil look like a school boy.” The stolen company was worth 7-10million dollars.
The requester claims to have contacted lawyers who would not help unless there was a retainer deposited in advance.
The requester says what he wants now is money to leave to his other grandchildren; and, if any assistance can be given in recouping the money, the assistants (letter writers) will be duly compensated.
From LetterRep, he wants for letters to be written exposing the son-in-law and pressuring him to concede some $$$s. It seems like a long shot and there is no guarantees or assurances that any pay will come from it, but if anyone would like to review the situation and write a letter for this requester, you are free to give it a shot.
The requester also has a website describing the book and the situation: http://www.mikesomma.com
Good luck,
Rob
